all the records that match your information
Surname Search help
If you type the name "Smith" here
then the search will return with all the names that exactly
match the word smith as well as any name that begin with those
letters e.g. "Smithfield"
If you type just the first few letters of a
name, say "Che" then the search returns all names
that begin with those letters e.g. "Chester", "Chepstone"
etc.

The search will return with all the names that
match what you have chosen.
In the "Street name" box enter just
the letters of street names. No need to use house numbers.
The search will return all soldiers whose records show as
coming from that street.
If you chose the value "Corporal"
from the "Rank" drop down menu and typed "Sandy
Bay" in the "Suburb" box then the search would
return all soldiers whose records show that they had the rank
of Corporal and came from Sandy Bay at the time of their death.
